This is the final painting that pays tribute to the first Gay Pride march in June of 1970 on Christopher Street.

Christopher Street in New York City's Greenwich Village is profoundly significant as the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, anchored by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. As a historic center of queer life, it was the site of the first Pride march and remains a, now, globally recognized symbol of LGBTQ+ liberation, activism, and community.

No More Hiding on Christopher Street highlights our struggle and our powerful ability to overcome. These two men hold an impactful presence by kissing in front of the camera, while one of them makes direct eye contact. This all goes to show that our joy is power, our authenticity is resistance, and our love is and always will be essential.
